Why Signalling Matters

Being seen is often more important than walking out. Rescuers are looking for you—help them find you.

Signal Mirror Technique

  1. Hold mirror near eye
  2. Extend other hand, make V with fingers
  3. Position aircraft/rescuer in V
  4. Angle mirror until flash hits target
  5. Sweep across target repeatedly
